Having a bad time.Mum in hospital and don't think she is coming out.her kidneys are failing and her heart.Recently lost one of my piggies so her companion was pining.Hubby was of f work sick so no money but my mum bought me a baby as she wouldn't accept adults and no single baby girls in rescues nearby. The baby loves cuddles so got her out and she snuggled in and did chicken legs for first time.It was like she knew I needed it.They are wonderful little creatures

I am sorry your mum is so poorly. Your little one is looking after you.

Sorry to read (hear) your mum is so poorly - I think all animals have that instinct when they know something isn't quite right with their humans.
My dad's friend lost her mum and her cat was always near her and wouldn't leave her alone throughout that period of time.
I know when I'm upset my girls stop their bickering and are good as gold!

Am so sorry your mum is so poorly MGL. Will be thinking of you. Make sure you get lots of piggy cuddles to help you stay strong. If you ever need to off-load you know we are here to listen
xx

AWWW - Nothing like a piggy giving you the comfort you need so urgently!
Sorry about your mum; it must be a very heart-breaking time for you and your family. It's even tougher at this time of the year. :(

Thank you all for your comments .This forum its my facebook as I can't be bothered with done of the idiots on proper facebook

I am so sorry. It is so frightening, whatever your age, when your parents are vunerable.
I hope you also have support from your husband and children at this hard time for you.

(hugs)

My husband and kids are great.Lost my dad 8 years ago.In hospital now Mum sleeping on and off and going downhill. Thanks for all your comments, they help

Sorry to hear about your Mum. Thinking of you during this awful time.

Glad you have had a little comfort from your piggie, they can really help lift you when you are low. Huge hugs x

So sorry your mum isn't well :( Piggies and animals in general can be brilliant when you're down, they definitely have a sense of these things. Thinking of you & your family x

Just a quick update. They can't do anything for mum but she came home Christmas eve.she is in one room as can't manage the stairs. She has carers in twice a day and my eldest brother lives with her so is there on a night. She panics if I'm not at mine so have to keep her informed where I am.(I live three doors off her) She has care line in anyway but is getting so frustrated and now has a cough that is keeping her up at night. Her carers are lovely but she hates losing her independence.I go in a few times a day as brother at work and make sure she is eating and walk the dog, let her out etc. Don't know how long she has left but seeing her like this is awful.Hope when my time comes I don't hang on like this as don't want my kids to go through this with me.

We lost mum today so poppy getting lots of cuddles. She now has to be the eternal guinea pig as mum bought her for me
