guinea pig digging in hay

my guinea pig has recently been digging in her hay a lot which is fine, but she also seems to make little squeaks. is this normal ? i might be over reacting-

She could just be happy or excited - mine have all loved digging in huge hay piles.
But you need to read her body language too - does she seem happy?
How is she otherwise?

i think she seems happy... she also lets me touch her after she digs and doesn’t run so i’m guessing she is?
