Hi, I am a new first time owner to two male guinea pigs 10 weeks old.

I have just noticed that one of them has a white rubbery, waxy discharge from his penis. he seems a bit agitated. hes eating and drinking ok. Please help - me and my two children are very worried.:(:(

Hello, welcome to the forum.

It sounds like it could be ejaculate; obviously no-one can make a diagnosis over the internet but from your description, this is my first thought. Ejaculate solidifes once outside the body, it can be tricky getting the substance off anything once it's set, hence the common name of "boar glue"!

Just make sure he's still able to urinate and defecate as normal; if it is ejaculate he'll be fine. :)

Thanks for your quick reply. Billy seems fine now so I think you may be right but will check with Pets at Home (where we got him) tomorrow.

Looking forward to using the forum to help keep our two boys, Billy and Barney happy and healthy.
Thanks again. Kerry
