I recently got a new guinea pig friend for my guinea pig as his friend recently passed away due to a bladder stone. Him and his old friend got on and they are two boys. But for some reason the newest piggy is not liked. They are currently in separate cages next to each other. But would love for them to get on.
Has anyone got any tips on how to help them become friends? :)

Not all piggies will get along and live together in harmony. It all depends on the piggies. How old are both boars?
Have a good read of these guides which give you the best information about boar behaviours and how to conduct an introduction in the way most likely to result in a successful bond. Once you start the introduction with boars you cannot stop and start. You have to to see it through even if the bond fails.

Hi!

I am very sorry for your loss. How soon after have you introduced a new friend? Has your boy had enough time to grieve? After a very close bond, like after a deep love, it can take time to open for the new.
Looking After A Bereaved Guinea Pig

Please take the time to rad this extensive and comprehensive guide here.
Please be aware that guinea pigs are very much like humans when it comes to liking each other - if you are stuck in an office with somebody, you do not inevitably become best of friends and get on with everybody, do you?
When you boar date a bereaved piggy at a good rescue under expert supervision, it takes on average 1-3 meetings to find 'Mr Right' - key to any successful bond is character compatibility and mutual liking, and that is something that neither shops or you can predict without allowing the piggy to choose.

Unfortunately, if your boys don't click, there is nothing you can do because you cannot change a personality but keep them as alongside companions with interaction through the bars.
The options after a fall-out in this guide are the same as for a failed bonding: Boars: Teenage, Bullying, Fighting, Fall-outs And What Next?

The new Piggie ( Nibbles) is 2-3 years old and my other (Rex) is 3 years old. Nibbles does seem to be more playful maybe because he is a bit younger I don't know. - thank you.

I got him within 2 days, as I didn't want him to be alone. I could tell he was sad. And after weeks now he is still sad it seems. He doesn't want the new guinea pig near him and he is so friendly. Thank you I will have a read.
