This morning my guinea pig was perfectly fine. I put him outside for about 1 hour. It was a little warm but he sat in he shade. When I picked him up at he felt really weak. I put him in his cage to let him cool down and I put a fan on him thinking that everything will be okay. When I put him in he went right to the corner and layed down. He was closing his eyes. (Which he never does). Then he weakly walked to the water but couldn’t drink it. I gave him some lettuce his favorite and he didn’t eat it or show any emotion. I took him out and stringed him some water and he drank it. He started to look better and he was keeping his eyes open m

Aw, poor piggy! He needs to see a vet NOW, if you call your regular vet's number it should direct you to an out of hours vet. Good luck!

A vet really would be a good idea, unfortunately as guinea pigs dont sweat like we do they wont feel any benefit from a fan, its just moving warm air around.

How's your guinea pig today? Did you get to a vet?
Its very important that you understand that guinea pigs can't regulate their body temperature - it's like leaving dogs in a car on a hot day windows open or not - it will kill them.
