Adult Guinea Pig
Hiya. I am looking for ideas on how to make a guinea pig run about and do some exercise.
One of my girl's weight has gone up to 1300g and I don't want it going up any further but she won't run/walk about - she just wants to eat and eat. Her mate Daisy loves running about and will be adventurous.
I leave their cage open whenever I'm in and I take their house out and put it somewhere else in the room so that they have a safe place to run to - and then they can run back and forth from there to the cage. But Blossom just wants to stay in the cage and eat hay. Not even Daisy can persuade her to come out. I used to set up a playpen area for them but they kept breaking free from it and headed back to the cage.
