So it's been years since I've had guinea pigs. And just purchased my baby yesterday from a pet store (Pets supplies plus).
I did wipe his eye with warm compressed towel, and his eye looks normal now. But still doesn't mean he could be all the way normal.

He was fine yesterday, but just noticed (today) that his one eye was shut with clearish goop on it , but not alot. Since it's been a minute of owning a guinea pig. What are reasons for this ?
His breathing is fine
He's defiently eating alot (young pig OXBOW pellets, kale, a carrot chip, a blueberry, romaine lettuce, and timothy hay)
Pooping and peeing is on point (especially the poop)
He's drank plenty
His teeth are healthy
His man hood is clean and no stench
Currently using carefresh bedding, while the fleece is being wicked atm.

Also, let's say if he has a vet call in his future (which I can defiently provide for him), do I take the vet bill to the pet store? Or do I call the pet store first.

Hi!

We recommend to have new guinea pigs vey checked. A persistently closed eye with watering is a sign of either a new injury that has not yet ulcerated (i.e. gone infected). Please have any potential eye injury seen within 24 hours if possible; they can deteriorate very quickly in a matter of hours but do also heal quickly when seen and treated correctly. Your vet has a special dye that shows the extent of any problem under UV light. The medication (which is the same as for other pet species in the case of eyes and doesn't require a specialist) will be adjusted to the severity of the problem. If there is a problem, you can reclaim the vet fee from the pet shop.
New guinea pigs: Sexing, vet checks&customer rights, URI, ringworm and parasites

Guinea pigs have a milky-white eye cleaning fluid; clear tear fluid results from an irritation. An untreated developed respiratory infection (URI) can produce yellowish/greenish gunky eyes, comparable to a human sinusitis. URI is a bacterial infection and nothing like a human viral cold. Thank you for the response, he is currently at the vets right now. And will get my little guy tomorrow <3

He's currently at the vets right now! Should get him back today :)

All the best! I hope that it is only something minor that can be easily dealt with by some antibiotic eye drops. ;)
