I’m so upset by this I understand that the OP is just a child and it really isn’t their fault but I doubt the piggy is going to get the veterinary treatment she so desperately needs

Absolutely @Claire W. It is desperately sad and distressing for us when we know there is a piggy suffering and not getting the help it needs.
@Tiny black, we understand that you have no control over the situation, but your parents do and they have a responsibility under the law to give an animal in their care veterinary treatment when required. Please do try to talk to them for your piggy’s sake, she really needs help and medicine

my heart goes out to you and your piggie. It's so good to see a young person being so responsible about owning a guinea pig as so often they are bought for children that loose interest or just aren't ready for a pet. I'm sorry that your parents don't feel this same responsibility for your animal.
