Hi,
I’ve never done this before but I don’t know what to do. My guinea pig didn’t come out for food when I gave it to her, which is very unusual. When I took her out of the cage and had a look at her I noticed that her eyes were twitching and her head kept slightly moving to the left and then moving back, on repeat.
2 hours later her eyes is still twitching but she’s lying down. I’ve gave her water and some food although she didn’t seem to interested. I think it maybe something to do with her inner ear?
Has anyone dealt with this before? Can someone please help me and let me know what it might be. I’m going to call the vets tomorrow but it’s late now so any help would be appreciated.

Please see a vet as soon as you can. It sounds like some major discomfort inside her head, potentially the ears or a neurological problem - but we can guess as much as you do.

I would definitely see a vet ASAP to rule out seizure or another neurological issue.

:agr: With the above posts - definitely needs an urgent vet appointment.
