Hello, this thread will be dedicated to finding out, what spot in your cage do the pigs enjoy spending time in the most. This is an example: my pig loves sitting in the corner of the cage where her favourite...

Two of my six pigs love spending their time under my cupboard. At first I tried to make them stay out of there as it was always hard to get them out and clean their pees and poos there, but it didn’t make any sense cause they kept sneaking in secretly, destroying the barricades that I made. In the end I gave up and just extended their pen there, and now they use it as their favourite hiddie.

Betsy loves "her" hidey. She will defend it and attack anyone who comes in there. If they are in there first she hoiks them out! Here she is guarding "her" hidey!

My pigs also tend to guard their territory which they chose as their own.

I usually let foster piggies out in my utility floor and their favourite place is always under the shelving unit. And I know what you mean about getting past the barriers. They can be very persistent.
My own ladies live in a large c and c. 2 spend their time lying in their hay trays which they guard fiercely and 2 definitely prefer spending time in their cosies.

Spike's is usually the large hay box - he likes to burrow. At the moment it's a shoe box lined with hay. I put a puppy pad in the bottom so it will last longer than his boxes usually do.
Peanut's is the furthest back corner under the loft on a fleece pee pad.

Bracken's is the cat litter tray full of hay in the loft.
Rusty's is behind the dog bed I use as a second hay box in their cage. Or on the fleece next to Bracken's hay box.

Mine have 3 hideys in the cage which they love. There’s no obvious favourite but it seems to work on the basis of Merab goes where she wants to go and the other 2 take what’s left.
Keziah does like to snuggle up to Merab though so it’s no unusual to find them in the same hidey.

The trio like to chill under their ikea beds on the fleece cage liner.

Tani likes to be in her bedroom behind her fleece curtain or in her hay tray

the girls like to be crammed under their pound shop yellow stool

they discovered the joy of the bendy bridge tunnel today too, Rosie was bravely staying out in the open
