Hi everyone so I had a couple questions I have been doing research about fleece bedding and some say that you have to make it. If yes how do you guys do your layers for your guinea pig fleece bedding. Also any tips you guys might have?

I sometimes use fleece (my piggies live in a shed so I can’t use fleece all the time), but I certainly don’t make mine! I use shop bought fleece blankets. I put down an absorbent layer (a lot of people use puppy pads), and then just lay the fleece on top.

Thank you so much, and do you add more layers or just the puppy pads?

I got mine from Snoozies Cozies and Pampered Piggies. They are costly but worthwhile long term! I change mine every other day. Underneath is a layer of puppy pads, and underneath that is a towel for enhanced absorption and extra cushion for them.

You can buy or make them, depending on if you can be bothered. I made the boys’ liners - two pieces of fleece with a waterproof mattress protector in between. Then I put bath (noodle) mats on top which makes it last longer.

Do you mind giving me the links on where I might find the bath noodle mats

You can get them from any shop at the Bath section! You can get regular sized ones for £8 from BnM(in the UK) and cut them up according to your liking.

I recommend pampered piggies who make it for you. Costs a bit more but is excellent.
