On the gerty guinea pig food review everyone was saying how bad it was with lots of artificial colours in it. i have had my piggies for about 6 weeks now and i have been feeding them that. what other food can i feed them which has no artificial colours in and is better for them?

I got my piggies a couple of weeks ago, and they came on Gertie too. They seem to eat it very selectively, and like you after reading the reviews wasn't sure if it was all that good for them.

We've started putting them onto Pets at Home nuggets, and I have to say they seem to like them. A lot of people rave about Science Selective, although i haven't tried that. Read the reviews of those two as well and see what you think....

No probs! You'll get a lot of good advice on here about that sort of thing....!

When introducing the new food, only add a handful extra of the new food every day until they get used to it. As a complete change in diet can upset their little tums :)
 
Yep, mine like the Purple Bag one too :) and I think I read somewhere that its made by Wagg too?
