After the reviews I was just wondering what the forums members thought was the overall best guinea pig food in the market. :)

I honestly don't know what to put. ::)

Mine have a mix of Tesco, Wagg and Best Pet sack. Occasionally I mix in P@H nuggets :)

After trying all of those I'm settled on the Cavy Cuisine and Cavy Performance. The CC has the correct Ca:Ph balace (but so does the Supreme Science) and is a good size for pigs with dental/jaw problems to pick up...

I voted science selective..best one ive come across so far that I can afford, although i would prefer a timothy based one..but I dunno of any, so atm we are the science selective :)

I voted other ;D

Here in Holland I feed a Dutch brand called Kasper Fauna Foods Caviakorrel

does anyone else have fussy guinea pigs... my bunny is also. i started them all on russle rabbit and Gerty guinea... they all loved it - at first, every now and again they stop eating it.. then i get them a new mix and they love it and cant get enough of it... and then... yup you guessed it... they stop eating it untill a swap back again! and this goes on,on,on,on lol..... i dont mind, but why are the being so fussy.... becuase they bored or just becuase they can be, hehe!
i also give them fresh food eveyday which they love

My guineas haven't been allowed to be fussy. ;D However, I have noticed they will eat more one night then the night before/ after. ? :)

Burgess Supa Guinea Excel, vegetables and mainly Burgess Timonthy Hay and Herbage.
They like their pellets, their hay and of course their vegetables, but aren't so keen on the herbage. I normally feed them herbage when they are recovering from an illness and during the winter months. :)

What herbage do they put in there? There's a selection of online ones if you can buy online, I don't bother with herbal hays either as they leave a lot of the herbs and you pay for the waste. I buy my herbs and mix them in- just Dandelion and Plantain usually.

Well as I can't tick 2 I put other, we had all our guinea pigs on burgess guinea pigs food, but we're changing them over to Wagg Optimum Pellets :D So they have Half of Burgess and Wagg optimum in their bowls, once all the burgess has gone, they'll have whole bowl of optimum pellets, instead of half half lol!:p

I think the 'best' food would be Cavy Cuisine, but I have always found piggies to change their minds constantly and none of mine will eat Cavy Cuisine past the novelty effect. ::)

How much is the Burgess stuff roughly? And where do I get some?

I buy mine from Pets at Home, but have recently found it in the shop I buy hay from. I think it's about £4 for a 2kg bag at PAH. Last time I went it was bogof though ;)
