Guinea Pig gang culture

Been tidying up my digital world and found these pictures of the gang outside in the run before Arran hit puberty and started causing chaos....(He doesn't live with us anymore and is happily married to a wifey pig who bosses him about no end!)

Just a quick health warning though...... don't let your boars socialise like this! It's very very uncommon for a boar group to be successful in bonding and my boys only had a few happy months of shared floor and run time before the hormones let loose! The photos from these times are very special to me but not worth the risk of trying these days!

I know, I loved them all being out together (living in two pairs) but it was not worth the stress and the vets bills! Everyone is much happier with their new flatmates and life is now much more peaceful!

I know, when I look back at old photos it's amazing. I thought Angus & Mish were fairly big when I got them but man they have grown! Arran is huge and Suilven is a serious fat-a-belly!
