Hi, I've had my guinea pig Chester for 2 years and he has lived with his friend Lloyd who is 1 year for almost a year now. They get on pretty well most of the time and both are happy when in their cage. Chester had always been a nervous piggie but had become relaxed enough with me to cuddle on my lap and fall asleep for about a year. The last week or do however he has been ok in his cage and run but very nervous when out for cuddle - he'll be ok one minute then terrified the next, spinning in circles and running and jumping (not popcorning) all over me. He won't relax again until in his cage with Lloyd. Has anyone else experienced this of know what could be wrong? His poo is also a bit sticky. Thanks.

To be honest it sounds like he needs to see a vet.
It could be an eye or ear problem causing him to be disorientated or suddenly startled or in pain.
As it sounds like he also has a stomach problem, it could also be linked to him being in some form of pain or discomfort.

I think it sounds like you clearly know him well and have a close bond with him, so a major change in behaviour without an obvious cause should be checked out by a vet.
