Guinea Pig Has Little Dot On Nose. Is It A Scratch Or Fungus?

My guinea pig has a really tiny patch of fur missing on nose. It's a little black/pink on the inside. She's get this every now and then. She's eat healthy and act happy. It doesn't seem to bother her. I was wondering if it might be a tiny scratch or a fungus? I put fungus cream on it just in case.

I have a piggy who has a recurring wart on her nose at that very spot. I'd get it checked out just in case it's spreadable

Hi! It is difficult to say whether it is the very beginnings of fungal or whether it is rather a little growth or wart, which is not quite uncommon with guinea pigs. My Taffy had a small one for a while; it didn't require any treatment, just observation.

I would recommend to have it seen by a vet whenever is convenient for you if it gets larger in the next few days, in which case it is likely fungal. I would however not slap things on on spec; if you want to get a proper diagnosis you are not making a vet's job any easier by muddling up the symptoms.

Yeah it never gets bigger it just keeps coming back and it never bothers her so I haven't took her to the vet but I'll get her check out this week. Thank you for yalls replies! I love my fur babies and really appreciate it

Also do yall know how much it is to take your pig to the vet? I've never tooken mine cause they've always been so healthy plus I live in Lubbock so we only have like 2 small animal clinics.
