Guinea pig health research/charities

After nine years me and my girlfriend have, sadly, come to the end of having friendships with guinea pigs - for now. Gus, Peanut, Chester and Bertie have made an incredible mark on our lives that we couldn't have imagined when we first decided to adopt the first two.

We want to put the money we'll save on care for our creatures on instead supporting research into guinea pig illnesses/healthcare issues, but, we're struggling to see where we might donate.

Any ideas? If not, adoption charities and advocates, which are a little easier to find.

I’m sorry that your time as a guinea pig custodian has come to an end. I’m afraid I don’t know of any specific research projects. But charities like TEAS are always desperately fund raising to pay their vets bills for their special piggies and would no doubt be most grateful for any financial support.
