Guinea Pig Help

I just bought 2 male guinea pigs both ages 11-12 weeks old and for some reason they keep climbing on top of one another. I've never had 2 guinea pigs at one time so I'm just wondering why they are acting like that?

Please make sure you have two of everything such as bottles, bowls, beds to prevent any fighting.

Can I ask the size of the cage?

They seem to get along but I was worried when they started to chase each other so thank you for the links.

Also my cage is
L95 x W57 x H46cm.

Although when I can afford it I plan to get s larger cage with two tiers.

I'm sorry to say that your cage is too small. Rather then get a two tier cage have you thought of a c and c cage? They can be made any size you like. Guinea pigs often don't use the upper tier of those cages and ground space is what counts.

Yes, I definitely agree with piggyfan cage is toosmall for 2 boars. A c&c run is best & for 2 males I would use at least a 4x2 which is approx. 145cm x 72cm.

I have my two females in a 2 feet by 4 feet open top guinea habitat (8 square feet of piggie heaven!) lined with fleece, plenty of hiding spots, crinkle tube for running and a large enough potty to accommodate both of them. I clean the potty spotless twice a day and wash their fleece daily (I have a large supply of fleece measured to the cage dimensions) I NEVER smell a thing unless I didn't get to their potty soon enough.

What are your new boys names? Piggies are happiest when they can popcorn & run and play. Definitely invest in their habitat as soon as you can, because happy piggies means happy Momma!

Oh, and my one boy, Gus, is in the same size habitat but it's his own little fuzzy man town! He is the PICTURE of PIGGY HAPPINESS & often the reason for my smiles...!
