Today my younger guinea pig hit my older guinea pig and I just wanna know if it was aggressive, or unintentional. This happened in a hidey where the older boar tried to mount the younger boar, and the younger boar looked like he popcorned and he hit the older boar. There was no teeth chattering or rumble strutting before and after this.

Do your hides have two exits?
If not, then that can be the problem when a piggy feels trapped inside a hide. If he felt cornered when the older one tried to mount him, then any ‘attack’ would most likely have been defensive rather than aggressive.

You need to ensure all hides have two doors so they can run straight through to get out and not be trapped.
You also need to make sure that there two hides in the cage (perhaps even three) and that their cage is big enough for a boar pair (that is 180x60cm).

To add, as you have only just bonded them, then it’s also wise to keep a close eye on them and be sure that things are going ok between them. It will take them two weeks to fully form their relationship.
