Hi! I got my guinea pig out today and noticed she had this little cut on her nose. Now I recently got another guinea pig who is younger, and I’m abit worried because I don’t know wether she’s accidentally hurt herself or if the baby Guinea pig could of done this.
can someone help me or atleast give me some advice.

Hi!

That looks like a bit of a bite wound but as the lip is not badly swollen, it is not a deep, full-on one.

Please remove any hideys with just one exit so the little one cannot be cornered. This type of bite is more commonly an instinctive defence bite that was pulled at the last moment.

Hi! Yes thanks for that information, I did do that.
I have also been observing there behaviour over the few days and it seems they aren’t getting on well.
Rosie (the one with the little bite) I’ve had for about 4 months and Daisy (the one that must of bit her) I’ve only had for two weeks. Rosie has been alone for most of the time I’ve had her, since I lost a guinea pig 3 weeks after I had her. Because Rosie was alone, I’ve spoiled her and gave her loads of attention but now I’ve decided to get another one, because I thought it would be nice for her to have a friend. Daisy turned 8 weeks on the 1st September and that’s when she arrived at our house. But Rosie hasn’t been happy to have her. When they’re outside, they’re fine, but when they go in the cage Rosie doesn’t want Daisy to go in the house and she starts rumbling and teeth chattering. I really don’t want to separate them unless I REALLY have to. I would really like them to be friends. Does anyone have any advice on what I could do? Please and thanks.

A bond comes down to character compatibility and it is not something you can influence. Any on spec bonding does come with a risk of failure if the two simply dont like each other.
However, if it just a particular house which is causing problems, then I would remove that house and see how things go - it sounds as if Rosie is territorial over it. You can use cardboard boxes with two holes cut in as an alternative to see if she is less territorial over that.
