Hi, I have adopted a Guinea pig and I am adopting her a friend. The rescue is 3 hours away so me and my piggy will be traveling down. I have 2 60 cm cages and I wondered if they would be okay in a 60cm cage for 4 days ? I will be staying in my caravan and i would give them floor time but do you think this would be okay? I cannot bring my usual cage as its a c&c cage and too big. I would also bring my run and give them floor time but would this be okay ?

The 60cm cages would be fine for the actual travelling, in terms of size, but once you are there could you perhaps keep them in the run for the duration of your stay?

Would it be a good idea to bring my run and and put the cage by it so they can go in and go as they please ?

i had to keep mine in a smaller cage when we had some bad weather last year as i was worried they would be too cold in their hutch... it was ok for a temporary fix and i don't know how pet shops can sell them that size for them to live in.... i am sure your plan will work out fine as you will give them lots of floor time.. x
