Guinea Pig items on Dragons Den next week

Oooh ill have to try and remember to watch that I hope it's something good like an appropriately sized cage or a device that makes nail cutting easier. Spud hopes it's pellets and gundhams hoping it's a mind controll device that piggies can use to make their humans give them more veg.

Yes, I just caught the ending and they popped up, instantly recognisable isn't it their piggie circus range?!

I have double checked and today is Thursday 29/4/21 and Dragons Den is on BBC1 8pm.
So the guinea pig item should be on today. I hope its not one of those fleeting cases that just gets a mention and the Dragons dismiss it outright.

No they were on for a short time. Peter Jones couldn't remember if his family had had guinea pig. It was the couple who run Hay Pigs. The dragons did not invest as they couldn't see the potential in big sales. Its a shame because the young couple who began Hay Pigs are dedicated to guinea pigs and deserved better. But Debra Meaden did acknowledge they made a lot of guinea pigs very happy. But the ultimate insult was calling the guinea pigs hamsters, unforgiveable.

I sat and watched it waiting for a good case, but it was as you was hoping it wouldn't be. Especially considering the case before them. Hopefully this will be one of those ones that come back to bite them in the future.
As for calling them hamsters.... :rtm:the less said the better!

It just goes to show how little knowledge the general public has about guinea pigs. The poor couple must have spent ages bringing their guinea pigs and setting up there display for the dragons just to dismiss their pitch so quickly. I did think Debra Meaden may have taken a bit more interest as she is the dragon who also likes animals. I just hope the couple from Hay Pig's short appearance generates a bit of publicity about what they sell to enrich guinea pigs lives.
