I wouldn't use them, piggies much prefer to be in a run and be able to explore for themselves. I also wouldn't trust them to keep the guinea pig safe, ie being tight enough so they can't slip out but not that tight they are being strangled. Also if the guinea pig is scared and runs to hide somewhere they are going to pull on the lead whilst you are holding it, meaning they will probably be in pain from it puling on their little bodies.

Stay well clear of them a run is all they need on the grass for keeping them trim leads are for dogs :) makes me :tickedoff: at these sort of things being on sale and advertise them for animals that do not need a lead they are for dogs and dogs alone.

My little bros friend has his ferrets on a lead and walks them round the farm...i dont know anything about ferrets? does that have the same principal? :-\

No, ferrets love to have a wonder about and need to be kept stimulated, so the leads are ideal. :)

Ahhh okay! Just checking...PHEW! ;D

I know a lot of the boys my little bro 'hangs around' with have ferrets on lead...but my bros in a chair so he cant really manage it :( He has a patterdale terrier that follows him around everywhere though! ::) ;D

There is a member on here who has used them and she said her guinea loved it, I can't remember who it was, but she posted pics and everything, it depends on th pig and also a responsible owner
