I once read a humor piece where the author described her guinea pigs' legs as "vestigial."

Their tiny legs, apparently, exist only to propel them towards food, and they would rather you hand-fed them everything anyway, so why do they even still have legs? Riddle me that.

I remember this at random times and burst out giggling.
