OMG! Such a relief you were close by and able to offer him a home  He's lovely x

Well done for getting him.
Those pictures are heart breaking, and the animals underneath don't look like they are much better off.
But a guinea pig in a shoe sized box with no shelter or hay - awful.

Awww, he is gorgeous. So happy that you have rescued him, what a wonderful life he will have now.x

What a relief to get him out of such a place. Poor boy! Once he's settled in he's going to have a lovely life with you! What a lovely lad :wub:What are you changing his name to? I think he looks like a .......Pickles! He has a coronet just like Betsy (my avatar).

Saw I saw this picture on Facebook. So glad he’s been rescued. It was fate you found him.

He’s lovely, you deserve a pat on the back x very sad the hay doesn’t look green either that he has, sadly I think there are lots like this. The cage for the rabbit is way too small also.

Awwww what a lovely ending to such a sad story, bless him. How old is he? I wonder how long he’s been living in that box. So glad he’s found a loving home. You’ll more than likely see the animals underneath advertised soon! Such a sad situation for them all.

The 2 rabbits are for sale :( but they won’t sell the rabbits with the cages coz they said they will lose money :( so sad x and I think the piggie is 4months x

My partner thinks I’m crazy but I adore them all. I moved in with my partner 6 years ago I use to live in London (south) and left all friends and family and I’ve never really made any friends here in north lincolnshire but who needs friends when you have these furry friends they will never let you down :)

OH he is so lucky that you came along! Such a similar situation to my late piggy Wiley who was living in a bucket, it is horrifying what people will keep these little sweeties in!

Oh my goodness, how awful :( and the white bunny in the tiny cage below :(

Some people just have no clue how to care for pets :(

OMG those poor animals. Thank god you rescued the poor little piggy.

It’s such a shame that cages are worth more money than a living animal! Makes me so angry. I see adverts on gumtree like that a lot, very heartless. I’m so glad he’s got a loving home with you and his soon to be little friend :D x

I saw this on facebook but I was too far away to go and get him.
Glad that some one knowledgeable got him and can give him an amazing home. Can't wait for more updates.

Good on you for saving him and giving him a better life. Poor little boy. How someone could keep him in a box like that is insane

How sad. I love the look of the white wabbit.

So glad you rescued him.

I noticed that too :( and I couldn't see any hay :(

I can see a second bunny in the platform opening. Far far too small for 1, yet there is 2. So sad.

I've had that bottom cage, so can vouch for that plastic box being blooming tiny! As for the Rabbit underneath the box, cage is too small too, but that's for another day..
Upsetting how people forget animals need space.. Good on you for taking him on :)

My bloody boils on the subject of small animals and the way some people keep them.
In pets at home they selling a hamster play thing. What it does it battery operated and spins fast allowing the hamster to spin off thro the air. Bloody Stupid. Morons. Arrrrrrr

Oh thank goodness you rescued him, he’s lovely ♡

But it really upsets me to see things like this, even if the ‘kids are bored’ he’s still a living animal and needs to be looked after properly, some people astound me how cruel they are.
