Love how they figure things out. I made my boys cardboard houses the other day, only for them to relocate them and re-decorate them in a place that suited them better. And here;s me, thinking they would simply eat them!

All piggies dream of being interior designers I swear! I’ll give them new hideys and tunnels and the next morning it’s like they’ve hosted an episode of extreme makeover: home edition

I come in and they’re all standing there yelling MOVE! THAT! BUS!

I'm sure my lot have a party overnight in the newly cleaned out hutch! When I go to see them in the morning, everything is upside down, hay everywhere and none left actually IN the hay tray and nothing where I left it the night before except for the bottles and that's only cos they're tied in place!

What are piggies like eh?!

The other night Toffee gave me a heart attack - I got an Amazon delivery so put the cardboard box in to his cage since they love tunnels (imagine a square tube essentially). It eventually migrated itself in front of one of the houses.

A few hours later I’m sitting watching TV and this horrifying noise comes from behind me, sounding like one of them was in a lot of pain. I leapt, literally LEAPT, over the back of the sofa to run to the cage and it turned out Toffee was stood at the entrance of his house, half in the house, half in the tunnel FREAKING OUT because he wanted to leave the house but didn’t want to walk through the tunnel I moved the tunnel back about an inch and he walks round it and goes to eat some hay.

I’m sat there almost sobbing thinking he was in so much pain and he’d hurt himself but nope, he was being dramatic and decided he didn’t want to walk through the cardboard tunnel he’d been running in and out of all afternoon.

That boy really does make me wonder
