Guinea pig losing fur around her neck

I've recently spotted that my piggy Amy has been losing fur around her neck. My theory is that she's scratching it off and that it's irritated in some way, but I just wanted to check what other people thought. Is it worth a vet visit or is it something that is best left to time? It's only on one side of her face.

She definitely needs to see a vet as soon as possible. This isn't normal and must be causing her discomfort. I hope your vet can find a cure for it. Good luck
