I'm sorry that I only just saw this thread, but am more sorry to hear that you've lost your beautiful boy :( You did all you possibly could but sadly there's only so much you can do before the decision is taken out of your hands

Sleep tight Marley xx

oh my heart breaks for you! I've been there having the vets call to say everythings fine and they've come round and then the next they are gone, this happened with my Buddy a few years ago. You did all you could for Marley and you should take some solace in the fact that you gave him a good life and did your best to keep him comfortable and pain free when he was ill

So sorry to see this news. At least you were with him and he knew how much he was loved. Hugs to you and take your time over the next few days and look after yourself. Run free little man x

I'm so sorry for your loss. Marley sounded like such a sweet little boy. Obviously this is a difficult time for you, so if it's any help, the Blue Cross have a Bereavement Support Service - their phone service is open from 8:30am until 8:30pm every day, all week. They also have an email address if you find it easier to write about how you are feeling rather than talk to someone. Their phone number is 0800 096 6606 and their email address is [email protected]

You can find more information here as well: http://www.bluecross.org.uk/pet-bereavement-support

Take care.

Hi MarleysMum ! I know this has to be such a hard time for you, hope you are doing ok just take it a day at a time.... Sometimes an hour at a time is all you can do!

He is just beautiful and he will always have a special place in your heart where you will keep him.
Love and hugs to you for being a special human who loves piggies

Awww what a beautiful boy. Just remember you did everything you could and he was very lucky to have such a caring owner x

Thank you so much. I can't believe he has gone still. My whole chest and throat ache from crying. I just don't want it to be true :(
I keep having to stop myself from making him up some vegetable or going to pick him up. It's so eerily quiet to open the fridge or run the tap without a little voice wheeking in the corner.
We had a funeral for him today and planted a rose bush on top of him - yellow/orange flowers, like his fur.
He was such a perfect little guy and he went way too soon. I don't know what I'm going to do without him.

I am so sorry for your loss! Know how you feel. There was once I told my husband we need to buy some veg for Digger and he just looked at me. Then tears just welled up. Just take one step at a time...... They are such small animals but big personalities!

You poor sweet thing, I'm so sorry. You obviously loved him sooooo much. Loads of love and hugs x
