Hi all.

I’ve recently cancelled my media and tv subscriptions as I’d like to invest in “guinea pig magazine”.

Recently discovered it after someone recommended an issue to me about URI’s.

I’m really interested in buying a copy, I just want to know. Is it worth the money? Is it a decent size magazine (thick?).

I have also got a question. I did wonder why the guinea pig mag isnt availiable in shops. I'm guessing its to do with money or something. But it would help make new owners aware of guinea pig needs more. Must have been thought of already .

According to the webpage it is available in pets at home.
 
Unfortunately Pets at home stopped stocking the GPM
It is a great magazine and has contributions from many forum members including Wiebke. Well worth checking out, I think they do digital copies also
 
PAH stopped selling all magazines becasue they took up space and weren't making enough profit.
It's a real shame as sometimes the magazines were the best source of information in the whole shop!
My MIL used to send us Guinea Pig Magazine and a couple of rabbit ones every month and I really miss them.
 
I love the magazine, I find it's really worth the subscription and read it over and over again. I have all the editions except no. 21 which is out of print. I recently started at no.1 again and read them all the way through in order to the present one.

Brilliant. My mum has kindly bought me two copies of back issues. Are they hefty magazines?

I have seen an issue at the vets with stories of wiebkes tribe in it. They are quite thick. Not like an ok mag. About 4 times thicker if i remember correctly

I have the digital subscription. It's a brilliant magazine. Loads of useful information and great pigtures.
