Guinea Pig Making Strange Noises

My guinea pig has been making a noise I have never heard him make before, its hard to describe what it sounds like. Kinda like soft wheeking except every so often it becomes extremely loud and low-pitched. He's acting normally though, running around and eating fine, poops seem normal too. Please help.
 
Is it just random and doesn't fit in with when he pees or anything?

Is it an excited noise do you think? mine make happy noises as they are pottering about and Tim makes a very high pitched noise when I put his hay in but he is not wheeking.

It may just be random but I'm not entirely sure, last night he just started doing it out of nowhere and this morning he woke me up with it. He seems to be only doing it when he's in his igloo. He also ran away after I petted him. It is most definetly not a happy noise.
 
Ok, it could possibly be when he is peeing which could indicate a urinary tract infection. If you are worried it is best to get him checked by a vet.
