guinea pig making wet noises when eating?

hi, i noticed today that my boy snoop was making some weird wet noises when eating hay. this has literally only just happened, and it’s not a constant thing as 5 minutes later, he stopped making the noises. he’s eating like normal and acting fine as much as i can see. i’m unable to get to a vet until later tomorrow after work and I'm just a little confused. is there any explanation for this? he’s also not in pain when eating from what i can tell, and is eating anything that’s in his cage lol. any help would be greatly appreciated

Is Snoop losing weight?
If he’s fine in himself and isn’t losing weight I’d keep a close eye on him. It might just be a one off.

i weigh him weekly and haven’t noticed any change in his weight at all

he is all healthy! teeth are really good which was my primary concern lol
