Guinea Pig Nail Trimming?

Hi Guys,
I was wondering if anyone has any tips or tricks on easy ways to help calm your guinea pigs while trimming their nails
Mine always seem to get really squirmy and make it really difficult

Distract them with veggies after each paw. My friends guinea pigs are way calmer when their heads are snuggled into a tea towel during nail clipping. I hope this helps! x

I have to wrap Christian up tightly in a towel to make a Christian Sausage Roll with one paw poking out. Trim the nails on that paw, unwrap him, sausage roll him up again with another paw poking out and repeat until all nails are done. The back ones are the easiest as there are no sharp teeth that end! It takes two of us to trim his nails - my son Tom to hold and me to trim! Hope you find the Sausage Method useful!

I find it's a 2 person job ! I distract with herbs or veggies..

Get someone else to do them whilst you hold them. My pet sitter does my lot. Got her number from a local pet shop.
