Guinea pig nails

My guinea pigs get their nails but don’t get me wrong but today I noticed one of my guinea pigs has a nail that is curling I chopped a bit off it, still a bit wonky as for the other nails on both of them they are long and it’s hard to cut them because one has black nails and the other moves x

Try wrapping piggy in a towel , having a second person help you by shining a torch up through the nail so you can see the quick to enable you to clip in the correct place.
If you are concerned about the curling nail, then it may like to have a vet check it to ensure that no damage has been done to the toe itself

One of our older ladies has a slightly curling nail, fortunately she doesn't mind having her nails done..we have an electric pet nail filer thing and we use it every few days..it seems to be working..and luckily not to the stage where it is anywhere near pressing the paw pad.. just where it is makes it hard for me to get the scissors in to clip it comfortably..yet.
