He’s cute. I’ve no idea about names though. Have you bonded them already? If new pig is under four months he needs bonding straight away.

we just brought him home today and had him on the floor with teddy for a bit so they could meet. Right there both in there own houses sleeping though

You can’t put them together and separate them. You need to put them together in the neutral space and leave them her for a few hours. Meanwhile clean their cage thoroughly and rearrange it.

Piggies aren’t bonded in that way. You need to see it through to conclusion, whatever that may be. Have a read of the guides below, particularly the first one

Make sure their cage is at least 150x60cm. How old is Teddy?

What a cute little boy.
Names can be quite a personal choice.
Some of us have themes, eg favourite characters from tv , books or films, there’s food themes or natural themes.

Some people choose pair names, so as you have Teddy you new boy could be Bear.

Some people choose human names, others prefer not to.

This may not be much help but you will find a name that suits him.
Hope the bonding goes well

Sometimes I don't come up with a name for ages, sometimes the name just comes to me right away. But if I am struggling I will watch the new piggy for a while and see if there is something they do which suggests a name.
Tufty got her name because when she ate the tufts of fur behind her ears wiggled up and down. Kanga got her name because she likes jumping about. So maybe just watch him for a bit and see what comes to mind :)

Sometimes I've had a name in mind, but then when I meet the piggie is just isn't 'them'. Often I've just sat looking at them & a name that I haven't even considered before pops into my mind.
