Guinea pig neutering!

Hi everyone! I was looking into neutering my male guinea pig and Birch heath vets has told me that it costs £65 to just take him in for a health check and a chat. This seems really expensive, is there any at a better price anyone can recommend in the Chester area?

That seems expensive just for a health check. I am in Manchester and Ashleigh Vets in Chorlton did an annual health check on all 4 of my piggies for around £80.
