Hi everyone! I’ve been having this ingoing problem for about 1 and a half months now and I have honestly no idea what to do. Basically my guinea pig was not eating but still was interested in food. I took her to the vet and they couldn’t see anything wrong so I took her home. The issue stayed and I took her up and they put her under and found her molars were bad. They trimmed them and got it fixed but I the noticed her mouth smelled bad. I called my vet and she put her on an antibiotic and said that if the issue still was happening to call her and they’ll see what they can do. The problem is that she isn’t getting better or worse. She isn’t super active, but also is still wanting food but won’t eat it. I feed her syringe feed her several times a day to keep her weight normal, I just don’t know what to do. If anyone has tips or had a similar experience please share cause I’ve never had this happen and it’s so bazar.

It sounds as if you need to take your piggy back to the vet or another vet.
If there is a dental issue then it needs to be dealt with properly and sadly a bad dental can just make things worse. Piggy dental treatment is not something many vets know much about.
Where are you located? (If you could add this to your profile then it will show up on every post and we are able to tailor our advice)

I’m at the vets now actually and if the issue doesn’t resolve with this I will try to find another vet. I live in the US. Around Johnstown, Pa. Thank you for all the help!
