Hello everyone
last night one of my boys got in a fight with his cage mate and unfortunately got a cut on his leg so he’s had the wound cleaned and didn’t seem to be in pain, but there’s no vets open near us and the cut isnt severe. he’s now in a cage on his own in my room so i can monitor him but ive noticed he hasn’t pooped in the last 20 hours, although he has definitely eaten a bit of cucumber. is this a serious concern? he’s acting fine and everything , and he’s peeing normally but i’m worried about him not pooping.
any advice is much appreciated thanks!

Hi

Please put him back next to his mate for company and reassurance. What you have done is putting him in solitary confinement in unknown territory.

I'm no expert but if he isn't pooping that is serious and you need a vet to see him 😔

okay update he pooped😁 and is now back to his normal self

also forgot to say but his cage mate was in the room with him and they are often in this room anyway. they were just separated because they had fought and i didn’t want him to get injured any further
