nomination for august

i would like to nominate for guinea pig of the month for august glynis's duke.
in the last few months duke has had a lot of problems with his teeth and not being able to eat by himself and recently a lot of trouble with impaction and weight lost. duke is 6 and a half, and writes lovely emails and uses glynis's pump machine really well.
so with glynis's permission i would like to nominate the sweetheart duke. he is a loving piggy and has lots of funny stories like with his impaction when glynis cleans him duke looks at her with a sad, hurt embrassed look on his face. he is a right sweetheart!

When you pm'd me Mary asking if you could nominate other members pigs I really wished I had thought of it earlier, he is a very, very deserving pig! Not to mention one of the most popular Guinea pigs on the forum. Big hugs and kissies for Dukey xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Have I Done This Right ? Any way, this is George. He should win because he is the most gentle Cavy and he is great with other cavies [not to mention his cuteness !x)x)x)] He is 2 years old, a crested tri colour [brown/white/dark brown] I hope he wins ! Love you George :rose:rose:rose

could someone please explain how you do thumbnail pictures? i just load my pictures straight from photobucket as we use to do. so could someone explain to a computer idiot-me how to do thumb nails. ?/?/?/ thanking you in advance :rose:rose:rose

OK .................. When your replying to a thread scroll down to the bottom of the page and you'll see a thing called manage attachments and you can do it easy from there ! inbreedinginbreeding
 
Bubbleberry

I would like to nominate Bubbleberry.
For a while now she hasn't been too well, and I and the vets don't know what's wrong:(- http://www.theguineapigforum.co.uk/showthread.php?t=23588

She's not the prettiest of piggies, but she has the most beautiful personality, and that more than makes up for it.

She is 6 1/2. She wouldn't let my Mum leave p@h without her, she wheeked at the top of her voice at her, how could she leave her there after that!
I don't really believe in fate, but I think animals somehow know when they've found their owner.....this was defiantly one of those occasions.

Maybe I'm biased, but I truly do believe she is a very special pig. I love her to bits.........

She has wibbly jowls, bulgy belly, an abscess and curly toes. I think she is absolutely gorgeous though and wouldnt trade her for anything x) These things just add to her already massive character:)

I'm sorry to hear that Bubbleberry is not well, oh goodness we're the same age, my birthday is 1st February when is yours Bubbleberry?

Lol! We both posted at nearly the same time!
Bubbleberry cant remember when she was born, but she can remember that she wheeked at my Mum on the 18/10/02.

She was hoping for a younger lad, but because he is so gorgeous, she will make an excepton for him!

This is Jamie and we havent been members long but I nominate him because I think hes wonderful. I had a guinea called Jack who was so timid and frightened eeven though id had him since he was a baby and had shown him nothing but kindness. I decided to get him a friend. Jamie was a rescue piggie he had not had a great start to life but after 2 days he was crawling all over me, chatting happily and eating anything id let him. Amazingly he gave Jack some confidence too so dispite all he went through he is the little piggie with the sunniest disposition.

I am also going through a family tragedy at the moment and this may sound crazy but when we have floor time he hugs up to me as if he 'knows' I'm sad and just seeing his face, watching him chatter to the TV or seeing him trying out the most ridiculous stunts really cheers me up. I love both my boars to bits but Jamie is a special boy. And thats why hes nominated xx

Am i allowed to vote for my own - Scruffy, piccies on photo gallery.

Scruffy is only 5 months old, hes been through a lot in those five months! after a week of having them he had a severe case of lice which he must have got when he was a baby, and he was suffering quite badly from it - after treatment he then suddenly got his severe allergy which he has been on antibiotics, and tried all sorts of different methods to sort it out but to no avail, cannot seem to get to the bottom of it!

Hes a lovely guinea pig, so so friendly, he comes up and licks your ears and lips - little piggy kisses every time i pick him up! he loves to sleep on your lap and just lays out on my bed every night and watches tv with me, its so so cute (all legs sprawled out and chin laid flat to the ground)! xoxo He has little "piggy man trousers" as I call them, i will try and get a piccie,his curly hair on his back legs, and when he trots (or when i tickle his belly cos he likes that as he starts licking your hand and wheeking!) it looks like hes wearing trousers its so sweet! He comes out every day i get in a squeaks down the house with his happiness and I would do anything for him so hes sooo gorgeous!

Sorry, i got a bit carried away then! i could go on forever! :)
 
:) aw dont worry about it moonie we all go on about our own so much! we love hearing about them! have you got any pics of him to put up so everyone can see how gorgeous he is? I love him he's so cute! x

Lincoln

Hi everyone,

Ive never done this before so hopefully its ok for me 2 nominate my Lincoln? I nominate him as he means so much to me. His grateful for all the love i give him and he shows that by loving me back. Ive been through a tough time latey and he has got me through it. He is always happy and cheerful always talking to me and he just means the world to me. He was in the back of a pet shop as he was to old and big to be on the shop floor as they thought people only liked the young ones. his photo was on the cage saying to ask if you wanted to see him. I knew he was the one i wanted to take home straight away.
His so cute and he helps me on the computer aswel 8) His a cheeky lil boy as you can probably tell from his photos :<> He is so friendly and loves everybody i couldn't of asked for a better piggy. And thats why I'm nominating him as he has had such an effect on my life x)
