Hello :)

A few months back I unfortunately had to rehome 2 of my guinea pigs - Pixie and Bella.

They've been at rngpwelfare in Rugby, Warwickshire since then and have just found their new homes with neutered boars, Bella is going to a home in Liverpool and Pixie in Northampton - I've been told that Bella's new owner is a well known member on here and I am desperate to find out who it is so I can keep in touch!

For privacy reasons, the owner of rngpwelfare rescue can't tell me who it is. Here is a picture of my Bella - If you're her new owner please let me know.

Hi there, I live in Liverpool and I am adopting a sow from Tracy at rngpwelfare in Rugby,,

I will be picking up on Saturday or Sunday, so if it's the same sow, I will be more than happy to give you updates

Tracy has told me that one of Leah's girls I helped piggy train to Rugby is going to you, gizzy! ;)

Ahhhh yippeee :). Thank you so much, I'm made up that I'm able to keep in touch. I wish I knew how to find Pixie's new owner though :(. Bella is a little character Gizzy, very vocal but has always been quite flighty. I miss her x

hi Leah,
Your Bella is an adorable little sow :luv:

your so right, she has got bags of character, you can see her taking an interest in everything that's going on , down on the pig room floor , it looks like she can't wait to go and run with the other sows ,:gp:

But for the moment , I need to let her settle down, and find herself as she is still quite nervous

it was long journey and it probably stressed her out a bit , I will post some photos in a couple of days once I'm sure she is properly settled in :btt:

Awww bless her, she originally came from Merseyside which is near Liverpool isn't it? So she's been back and to! She will come out of her shell but it may take a while, she was here for around 11 months and even then she was still the most nervous of them all but she did get quite bullied by her companian which is one of the reasons why I unfortunately had to give her up.

I know she'll be well looked after with you, I can't wait to see photo's of her. Thank you so much for giving her a great home :)

Hi there, just a quick update on Bella,

after a few days of finding her feet, I felt confident enough to introduce her to Max, her new Husboar ,

Max is also a relatively new residents here a really old guy (turned six years) and he has been by himself all of that time never having a partner, but he was quite the gentleman and followed boar etiquette, respecting Bella's need for space,

They have spent all day together Bella was totally bemused with Max, when she first saw him, it took awhile to get used to him, but one she felt confident, she politely attacked in a couple of times, and then ran down the cage like a lunatic doing funny little popcorns ,

Max took it all in stride and and never wants overstepped the mark.
I have a feeling these two are going to make a wonderful couple, happy new year Max and Bella .

And happy new year to piggy keeper is all over the world

Peace love and Guinea pigs

Pleased to see that they are getting on well and that Merida (as she was called here) has recovered well from her travels. Lovely to get an update at least through here.

So lovely to see a piggy staying on the forum. Hope her and Max have a fantastic time together, which I am sure they will!

Awwww just look at them! I suppose Bella was showing her bossy side because she never really got the opportunity here with Pixie being the dominant pig.

I hope her and Max will continue to be the best of friends. He looks so lovely.

Seeing that photo has really made my day. When summer arrives she'll be popcorning away in her run. She always did here :)

Will be looking forward to seeing more pics. THANK YOU for giving her a great home xx

Apologies for the triple post.

I thought many of you would like to see this video -

All 5 of my guinea pigs, spot Bella in the middle and little Pixie next to her. They were all very happy to sit together for a quick photoshoot. It's so unfortunate that Bella and Pixie's bond was broken.

Hi there, I had a problem with one of my sows, that needed syringe juice,(she's fine now) so I thought I would, make use of the extra by giving some to Max and Bella,
Everything was going fine until Max decided he wanted is all :lol!:

Here is an update picture from Bella; Gizzy is struggling with new technology to post it on this thread, so I am doing for him.

Hi there LeahsPiggies, you contacted me a few weeks ago, sorry it took me so long, but here are a couple of photos I took today of Bella the bullet.

I give her the nickname Bella the bullet, because she is always zoooming around the pig room floor,

and quite often if she sees Max (her husboar) flirting with the rest of the sows, she will run straight through the group,

it looks as if its Bella's way of trying to disrupt something she doesn't like.

She is still a little bit nervous, but she has the most adoring personality, and I love the little sow to bits

And she is gradually getting more social, as long as the other sows don't bother her, then she won't bother them,

wow yet another reason to love this forum. So nice being able to keep track of them.
