I have a guinea pig called Jerry who is 4 years old and is having green yellow poos which or soft or mushy he’s acting fine and I just need some advice.

Please take him off veg until his poo is back to normal for at least 24 hours. Is there something new you’ve fed him recently?

Hi!

Please take a guinea pig with unusual poos off any fresh food until at least 24-48 hours until the poos have normalised. If the poos don't look better within 24 hours or they continue to get worse or if the same problem recurs, please contact your vet clinic.

Large chunks of undigested veg in the poos point towards a mild tummy upset ('dysbiosis' where bad bacteria overgrow and derail the digestive process).
