Hi,
I'm asking this on behalf of my friend. One of her boars is losing weight and this morning he started passing white rubbery stools :( He doesnt appear to be in pain, and she is taking him to the vets but she was wondering in advance if anyone knows what this is?

I'm new to guinea pigs, and I have no first-hand knowledge, but I have been reading about them to learn. I do not know if this applies in this case, but I have read that white poops are mucus covered poops and are a sign of intestinal irritation and can be caused by the way antibiotics kill off the good bacteria as well as the bad. Hope that helps, but other than that I don't know.
