I’ve noticed that in my piggies cage there seems to be loads of small dry poop which is abnormal seen as it’s always been healthy, they’re eating a good amount, not seen them drink so much as they’re new and haven’t used the bottle much but I’ve given them cucumber for their water intake, so just wondered if I should be worried or if it should rectify itself? One of my piggies came to me with tear dropish poops but once she started having watery veggies they went back to normal so just want to make sure I don’t need to worry about these small dry poops? Thanks x

It's difficult to say without knowing your piggies really.
Are the poops different to normal.
Is this a new thing that has come on suddenly.
How are your piggies weights?

A change in poop size and output can be a sign of illness, so checking their weights regularly can help narrow down which pig it is when there is a problem.

They’re just smaller than normal and abit lighter so I put it down to dehydration as they’re not using the water bottle, so I’ve been giving them cucumber. They seem perfectly fine and I’ve only just got them and weighed them on Tuesday and they seemed fine, I just noticed it today when I was cleaning but I’ve just checked now and they seem to be bigger but still a lighter colour

If your piggies are new they may well be adjusting to their new home and a new diet, so I wouldnt worry too much- all these things will affect appetite, weight and poops! Weigh them weekly and watch the poops daily, their weight and poops should stabilise in a week or two, its tricky with new piggies as they won't do anything while you are watching and trust me we all assume our new piggies are wasting away and starving! But while you are asleep or out of the room they are probably scoffing and exploring like mad :)
As long as poops are coming out and food is disappearing and they have plenty of hay and water/watery veg if they arent drinking much they should be fine!

How can I get them to use the water bottle? I’m not sure if If at the right height or anything , I’ve tried putting cucumber juice on it and tapping it constantly I don’t know what else to do

You can offer them water in a bowl instead. Just be prepared for spillage and having to change the water more frequently because they decided to decorate it with poo 😁
