As some of you may know, we've been looking after two female guinea pigs, and have a female guinea pig of our own. The owners of the other two called today and said that they are coming to collect them tomorrow! I'm a little upset that they didn't give us more warning as my guinea gets on really well with one of them and now she'll be alone until we can get another one.
BUT
They said they might leave the one my piggie likes with us, because they don't really like her! And, the other one is pretty grouchy and seems to prefer her own company.
So...
Do you think it's best for the one piggie to stay with us so that mine doesn't lose her friend and doesn't have to wait until we get another one?
Or should they take them both so that the grouchy one isn't alone? Even though she seems to like being alone? (Yes, I know guinea pigs should always have a companion)
Opinions? Advice? Thank you so much!
