So many of you will know my story of Pippins recent bonding with Winny after Gladys was sadly put to sleep - Just heard a loud squeal from Pippin so i jumped straight up and she was sat and literally was puffing out her cheeks in what looked liked anger?

She has been making some louder than normal squeaks this week but I always seem to miss what has happened ! They have one large hay tray which they do share ok, 2 water bottles, 2 food bowls, 3 hidey places and get out for floor time each night..

Is this all part of the settling in for them both? Winny (9 months) is younger than Pippin (4)... Feeling a bit stressed to be honest!

Cheek puffing hissing is a strong sign of displeasure. Not all piggies do it.

Just try to leave them to it as long as things do not get into a real scuffle. If necessary distract them with a handful of fresh grass.

Thanks @Wiebke ... I have moved their cage a few inches forward so I can see into it more.... Looks like Pippin just wants a nap and Winny keeps bothering her! Treats have been give more than once this week...

It's been an up and down afternoon for me - up and down out of my office chair that is! ! Gave them treats, took one out for cuddles, more noises but now a bit calmer. Time out for 5 minutes seemed to help and some ruffling of the hay tray to make it seem special!
