Guinea pig putting up a fight with meds

My guinea pig is currently being treated for an ear infection , he has to have his medicine twice a day, he is so hard to catch and when I eventually do he puts up a massive fight, which I guess is normal but today he was on my lap and managed to wriggle out of my arms and fell onto the floor which was a few inches down. I was sat on the floor with a blanket on me so I suppose it wasn’t that far. He kind of wobbled/hopped away but then seems to be walking fine now .. hope he’s ok? He doesn’t seem in pain and he’s not making any noises when walking , maybe he fell funny ?
