I have a ramp and I bought some non slip grip mat so they could easily climb up it as one of the guineas struggles a tiny bit.

But Ludwig keeps eating the grip mat and it now has a huge hole in it. What can I use to help them get up without him eating it?

We just took the grip out to stop him eating it but now my other guinea pig might have problems climbing up again.

What can I use/do?

My guinea pig eats anything and everything he can...

I have used a carpet tile on my ramp's. So far they haven'y chewed it.

I think mine might chew it. ^^;

Both of them love chewing so I worry they would eat that too..

I really don't know what to do ^^;

I've seen people use like cat scratching boards. I don't think they would be as fun to chew.

Yeh, they are like the scratching poles you get but basically a plank of wood so it's ideal for ramps. I think you can get them on ebay. I'm not exactly sure what you would search for though.

Ohh well the ramp is built into the cage that I have so I don't think I should take the ramp out and put a scratching post in.

Oh I see, I have no idea then sorry. I hope you manage to think of something. :)

I have seen long flat cat scratching boards in Asda pet food isle, maybe you could put that up the ramp? or if you have a handy man in the house, (or lady shouldnt be sexist) then it could be cut to size maybe? I have just made my own ramp out of a large bird ladder and put the carpet on the underneath side so they cant get to it easily.

My brother's pretty handy. I could ask him if he'd do it. Thank you :)

They can both climb it, but Gilbert seems to struggle a tiny bit. His brother just loves running up and down it though.
