A guinea pig diet is 80-90% hay. Pellets are NOT needed in a guinea pig diet though a lot of people feed them. I personally don't because I have two guineapigs who cannot eat them as it causes them tummy troubles.

I would suggest a constant supply of hay for your boy and then veg twice a day. Celery, pepper, cucumber, green beans, coriander, greens are all very good for guinea pigs.

Do NOT feed them yogurt treats as they are just pet shop made to sell to people and are not good for a guinea pig at all.

As for not eating, you should weigh him constantly to check he is not losing weight. It sounds like your guineapig may be ill with something so a trip to the vet would be advised.

I'll let someone with more knowledge in guinea pig veterinary care to give you advice on that.
