Guinea Pig Rumble Strutting, Chattering Teeth And Then Popcorning And Excitedly Squeaking?!

My guinea pigs seems to be having mood swings... hahahaha idk, i think so. She seems angry (rumblestrutting, teeth chattering) and then starts squeaking like mad (happy squeaks and chirps) and pop corning as well. My two guinea pigs also sometimes get into little fights and but they stop after a while and happily eat together, groom, snuggle etc? are these guys having mood swings. is this behaviour normal, thank you!

this only happens once a month, maybe twice a month, for a few days and then goes away, perhaps theyre in heat (might sound silly, hahah is that even a thing?)

It's very likely. Girls can get all rumbling when they're in season.

My boy, Podrick, is a right old noise box. He can go from rumbling to whinging and back to rumbling in seconds. Accompanied by his slow walk with his bottom waggling, then off into a top speed run and back to waggling.
