Hi, I've owned guinea pigs for over 7 years now and recently mine have passed away from old age. It's my first time getting baby guinea pigs from a local petco, but I was looking closer at the one I got yesterday (waited to fully look at it because I did not want to stress him out too much) and he has a weird patch on his stomach. He isn't neutered and I'm not to sure what would be the cause. I think it might be ringworm but I'm not to sure, I'm a bit worried and I won't be able to get to the vet until 2 more days because it's 3 hours away and I have a busy work schedule. I really want to see if i can figure out if it is ring worm and if maybe there's something I can buy to help treat it. I wish I knew how to attach a photo, if anyone knows how and could tell me that'd be great.

However, you do need to see a vet for correct diagnosis and treatment. Attempting to diagnose and buy something yourself could result in the diagnosis being wrong and more harm than good being done.

This is our ringworm guide for further information. Ensure you exercise strict hygiene measures between now and when you get to the vet
