Guinea pig seasons

When do guinea pigs have their first seasons? We've had our two girls for about a month now and think they are around 12 weeks? One is strutting around rumbling at the other and I watched her seeming to be swaying her bum around? Could this be a season? New to piggles so not sure!

That sounds like a girl in season.
It’s perfectly normal behaviour.
Girls will also chase and mount other sows when they’re in season so don’t panic if that happens.
